Webinar

The Hooghly Chapter of Indian National Trust for Arts & Cultural Heritage (INTACH) invites you to a Two-Day International Webinar on “Domestic Heritages: Memories & Mirco-Narratives”, to be organised in collaboration with The Indian Museum, Kolkata, Ministry of Culture, Government of India, and with support from INTACH WB & Calcutta Regional Chapter, on Saturday & Sunday August 8 & 9, 2020 (4-7PM, IST).

Official Media Partner: Banglalive.com

CONCEPT NOTE (Brief):
This webinar proposes to critically engage with domestic space which is a site where domestic past is an unconscious chequered representation of domestic present. Individuals and families, voluntarily or involuntarily, act as agents of transmission of heritage through possession of material artefacts of the family, rituals, beliefs and the traces of memory. This webinar aims to graph ‘domestic heritage’ by focusing on the micro-narratives of individual and their shared collective memories within the parameter of private domestic spaces.

We are excited about your participation and will be thankful for sharing ‘your heritage’ with the world. Let’s rediscover YOUR heritage. #thisismyheritage
